Or equivalent work experience.Experience10 to 12 years' experience in systems development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop blockchain-based applications and smart contractsBuild and maintain decentralized systems using platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, or Hyperledger BesuWrite secure, efficient smart contracts using languages like Solidity or RustConduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and security auditsOptimize blockchain performance, scalability, and transaction efficiencyIntegrate blockchain solutions with APIs, databases, and cloud servicesMentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadershipStay updated on emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and best practicesRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in blockchain development and distributed systemsProficiency in Solidity, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or PythonDeep understanding of smart contracts, cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and Web3 technologiesExperience with frameworks/tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, and FoundryFamiliarity with DeFi, NFTs, wallets, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721)Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability mitigationExperience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and agile developmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldContributions to open-source blockchain projectsRelevant blockchain certifications or published projectsTypical OutcomesDeliver secure and scalable blockchain productsImprove transaction efficiency and platform reliabilitySupport innovation in decentralized finance, digital assets, and enterprise blockchain solutionsThe estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $121,564 USD Annual to $225,762 Annual USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
